Our Story
The idea of establishing Om Sleiman Farm began when Mohammed Abu Jayyab from Gaza and Muhab Alami from Jerusalem met in Ramallah. The two envisioned a farming model rooted in chemical-free cultivation, heirloom seeds preservation, community engagement, and popular education.

Their search..
for suitable land led them to Abu Alaa Mansour from the village of Bil’in, who generously offered them the use of his 14 Dunum land free of charge for five years, then extended it as much as needed.

Our Extended family
Om Sleiman Farm grows through the community. Members from Bil’in support us seasonally — helping with the harvest, workshops, cooking, and infrastructure. Since day one, local and international volunteers have been a vital pillar of the farm’s growth. Their dedication, skills, and solidarity continue to nurture both the land and our shared vision.
